From life to creative practice

From the studio: a creative reconstruction
A first-person creative reconstruction drawing on the biography and artworks.
I imagine removing the invisible ruler that tells a body where it should begin and end. A shoulder, a beard and an item of clothing should not have to agree. I enlarge their encounter, then leave it somewhere the gaze cannot immediately escape.
Working around Sakat Muhabbet: radio record, my attention returns to this detail: Sakat Muhabbet appears in the artist’s interview selection. The available link leads to the Açık Radyo archive, not to a direct player for a verified episode. In the next passage, I imagine pulling back anything that weakens that encounter and leaving the areas holding its tension open for longer.
In the final passage, I imagine returning the work to its own context. I leave room for reading a page, looking at a frame or watching the film beyond the narrative assembled here.
